FoRB Storytelling

We believe in the power of story and that powerful narratives can challenge paradigms.

SPOTLIGHT

Our blog, She Thinks FoRB, is about the synergies and tensions between religious freedom and women’s rights.

And short films highlighting stories of women, religious minorities and displaced communities are powerful tools for raising awareness.

Three videos highlighted below were created by Empower Women Media’s network of storytellers and film producers who foster inclusivity, diversity and freedom of belief. Learn more about Empower Women media training fellowships and film competition on their site here.

The Victoms of Communism Witness Project tells the tragic and powerful stories of the victims of communism, past and present. Highlighted below are three courageous women who experienced life under communism and want to share their cautionary and inspiring stories. These are a few of the oral history mini-documentaries screened across the country and internationally as well as disseminated widely online and through social media. Learn more here.
