FoRB Programs

FoRB Women’s Alliance offers an opportunity to contribute and benefit from a wealth of knowledge, expertise, research and advocacy related to issues affecting women living out their faith and beliefs worldwide.

ACTIVE LEARNING

The Alliance offers a variety of webinars, bootcamps, online learning courses, peer consultations and guest lectures designed to enhance strategic thinking and develop problem-solving skills that help you share best practices to respond to real world challenges.

In-workshop problem sets, projects and tools will enable participants to actively share and apply learnings and take transformative steps forward.

All Alliance educational and shared learning programs are free as well as programs offered by our partners.

Webinars

Led by experienced professionals and advocates, each session includes an engaging presentation. Previous and upcoming webinars include:

Training

We offer in-person or virtual Women and FoRB Bootcamps. Bootcamp participants attend workshops, engage with mentors in one-on-one deep-dives, build relationships with partners, and draft strategic plans, outreach campaigns, and financial models. Together with partner organizations, we draw on an international trainer pool.

We also are interested in highlighting innovative ventures that seek to create impactful initiatives and programs for freedom of religion or belief for women. We offer in-person or virtual Rapid Innovation Coaching. These hands-on sessions teach how to apply innovation best strategies and practices in order to make better decisions and solve challenges more effectively.

Online Learning

Self-paced instruction modules are flexible, allowing you to learn at your own pace and schedule. These courses, created by FoRB partners, consist of two to nine sessions and cover a wide range of topics related to FoRB.

Peer Consultation

These voluntary consultations pair two Alliance participants so that each can learn from and build on the work of the other. Peer consultation is voluntary and provides a mutually beneficial framework to discuss ideas, issues and challenges in a supportive and confidential manner.

CONVENING

A key part of the accelerator experience is ecosystem events. Guest lectures and keynotes from community, regional and world leaders in the FoRB, women, human rights and other spheres including communication and development. Convening facilitates collaboration between partners, breaks down silos and fosters community.

To date, we already have seen the incredible opportunities, enthusiasm, and ideas that result from bringing people together and providing a safe space for exploration and innovation. FoRB Women’s Alliance facilitates bi-monthly virtual discussions and lectures to provide opportunities to explore the intersection of freedom of religion or belief and women’s rights.

FELLOWS

We are dedicated to developing current and future women leaders working in FoRB. FoRB Women’s Alliance invests in women – faith leaders, civil society, journalists, scholars, public policy analysts and media – who generate bold ideas that have an impact and spark new conversations about the most pressing issues relevant to women and freedom of religion or belief.

The Fellows Program aims to support women working in FoRB in three primary areas: provide funding to support talented individuals in their endeavors; build a community grounded in cohort gatherings; and provide access to platforms and partners that can accelerate their work. Coming Spring 2024.

GLOBAL WOMEN FoRB AWARDS

This annual awards recognition program will acknowledge the talents and efforts of selected remarkable women, change makers and unsung heroines, working within FoRB and related fields.  The awards will highlight the wide range of crucial roles women play in advancing FoRB. Coming 2024.
