Theme: Advancing Pluralism to Build Thriving Societies
The Marrakesh Forum will amplify women’s voices as we explore the importance of inter-faith collaboration and inclusion to build thriving societies.
The 2-day leadership event will include media, subject matter experts, panels, workshops and education tools. Continuing the work of the Abraham Accords, the Marrakesh Forum (June 6-7, 2023) will gather leaders and members of government, academic, business, media, and NGOs. Seeking to promote peaceful pluralism, the women influencers will share the benefits of religious tolerance and inclusive citizenship.
The workshops will explore how inter-faith collaboration is good for peace, women’s rights and building strong business economies. Speakers include Nezha Alaoui, Social Entrepreneur and CEO of Womenchoice.org; Manel Msalmi, International Affairs Adviser at European Parliament; and Anila Ali, Director of American Muslim, Multi-faith & Women’s Empowerment Council.
Empower Women Media will also showcase a women’s film festival curated by highly respected judges and other leading voices for pluralism.
